SCS LFG Migration and Emission Control System Operation, Monitoring, and Maintenance (OM&M)

Typical Tasks Performed:

• Monitoring of wells and probes to assess control system effectiveness
• Report preparation
• Monitoring and adjustment of control system components, including extraction well valving, pump station valving, etc.
• Balancing of well-field flow and vacuum distribution for optimal migration, odor, and/or air emissions control
• Maintenance and repair of control system components, including extraction blowers, candle and enclosed flares, flame arrestors, collection wells, headers, condensate drains, monitoring wells, automatic gas detection systems, etc.
• Flare stack sampling and analyses of emissions
• Maintenance of site grades to prevent ponding of rain and irrigation runoff
• Data management

Once construction and start-up of an LFG control system has been completed, SCS provides all necessary operation, monitoring, and maintenance services.
